Sabine Wren – DIY Sabine Wren Lightsaber From Ahsoka

Get out the cardboard tubes because this week we’re making a cheap and easy DIY Sabine Wren lightsaber, based on the one from the Ahsoka series.

DIY Sabine Wren Lightsaber (Ezra Bridger second lightsaber) Cheap & Easy from Star Wars Ahsoka

MATERIALS USED:
Sabine Wren Lightsaber Template (available free in my patterns vault here)
Cardboard tubes that can fit snugly inside the other
Black Metallic paint
Red paint
Paint brush
2mm craft foam
5mm craft foam scraps
Silver adhesive foil
Gold adhesive foil
Cardstock
4 gold plastic beads
Multi surface glue
Utility knife
Ruler
Pencil
Scissors (Duct tape scissors work well for cutting sticky foil)

Like most of my lightsabers, this DIY Sabine Wren lightsaber uses a cardboard tube as the base, and just requires a few additional details consisting of mostly silver foil, craft foam, and paint. I always like to use the adhesive foil because it saves times, but if you want a cheaper alternative, just glue on aluminum foil.

I do have a template guide for the detail pieces listed above, but they’re also pretty easy to draw freehand. However, if your tube is a different length or diameter than mine, you’ll have to adjust the size of the pieces in the template.

I cut my tube at 10 inches, which ended up making the finished lightsaber too long, so you may want to start with a shorter tube.

Have fun, and may the force be with you!
